With Valentine’s Day coming up in a few days time, everyone is on the lookout for something delectable, and preferably chocolate, (well for most of us) but then there is always the guilt that goes together with eating it. So here I have some delightful treats that will not only tickle the taste buds, but will benefit, yes, I said BENEFIT our bodies.
Be sure to use a cold pressed, unrefined, organic coconut oil as the refined type is as dangerous as a trans fat and we don’t need or want that!
I adapted this recipe from Celeste Davis’s recipe Oh my gosh! It’s good! Coconut almond fudge. As usual I love to play around with a recipe and try different things. I have created a variety of chocolate fudge treats which stay fresh and ready for a treat, in the freezer and have used different nut butters, which add a whole new dimension of flavor explosion in the mouth.
